Andrew Tripp, a former General Counsel and Chief of Staff in the North Carolina Senate, envisioned ElectaFile® after years of watching public servants take the first step of choosing to run–followed by the even harder step of building a passable campaign finance compliance plan.

We ask our friends and neighbors to walk through a legal minefield wearing a pair of snowshoes. The biggest campaigns purchase national fundraising software. Smaller campaigns cannot. Instead they track receipts and spending using free software or paper records that can be lost in the shuffle of trying to get elected.
